How to measure
  • AChest: place one end of the tape measure at the fullest part of the chest, wrap it around the shoulder blades and back to the front.
  • BWaist: start at the top of the hip bone, then bring the tape measure all the way around the body, level with the belly button.

All measurements in centimetres, with weight in kilograms / inches, with weight in pounds. A PFD is a safety device, so weight is the figure that selects the size and the chest and waist figures confirm the fit. Check that the buckles do the jacket up snugly and that it cannot be lifted off over the ears once fastened.
