Mariner Skirt Sizing

Level Six Mariner skirt diagram: the deck seen from above, lying on its side with its grab loop to the left. A vertical tape measure marks the cockpit length, a shorter tape marks the tunnel opening, and a long tape below the deck marks the cockpit width.
How to measure
  • Tunnel: the opening for your waist. Measure around yourself, not around the boat.
  • Cockpit length: measure the long axis of your boat’s cockpit rim. The figure below is the maximum the skirt will fit, so measure the boat rather than estimating.
  • Cockpit width: measure the short axis of the same cockpit rim, across its widest point.

Not sure which deck fits your boat? The Spray Skirt Size Selector looks it up by manufacturer and model.

All measurements in centimetres / inches. Cockpit length and width are measured on your boat, not on you, and are the largest rim the skirt will fit. Only the tunnel, the opening for your waist, is measured on the person.
